We are a licensed NFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) dedicated to providing innovative and accessible savings and loan services to individuals and small businesses. With a focus on financial inclusion and customer empowerment, we leverage digital tools to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven IT Consultant to support the planning, implementation, and management of information technology systems that enhance our core savings and loan services. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in digital finance platforms, data security, and scalable IT infrastructure suited for the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate current IT systems and infrastructure; provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable solutions for digital savings and loan services.
  • Oversee integration of core banking systems, mobile banking platforms, and customer-facing apps.
  • Collaborate with management and operations teams to align IT strategy with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and financial regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
  • Monitor systems performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive solutions.
  • Train internal staff on new systems, cybersecurity protocols, and IT best practices.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to procure, maintain, and support technology tools.
  • Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of IT consulting or IT project management experience in the financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of digital banking systems, loan management software, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Experience with APIs, cloud computing, CRM systems, and mobile/web application development.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within timelines and budgets.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of local financial regulations and licensing frameworks for NFCs.
  • Experience working with fintech startups or microfinance institutions.
  • Familiarity with digital wallets, USSD technology, and mobile money platforms.
