 is building the intelligent logistics network for Africa, starting with Kenya. Our vision is to become Africa's operating system for trade.

We are pre-revenue with a completed MVP and onboarding our first pilot customers. Now, we need a technical co-founder to own the build-out of this vision and architect the platform that will power African commerce.

The Role: Own the Technical Vision

Your Key Responsibilities:

· Architect and build our core intelligent matching engine, real-time tracking system, and mobile applications from the ground up.

· Make critical decisions on our tech stack, infrastructure, and data architecture to ensure scalability, security, and performance across Africa.

· Design and implement a robust, secure API-first architecture. This will be the foundation for all integrations, ensuring we can seamlessly connect with business ERPs, payment systems, and mapping services from day one.

· Work directly with the CEO to translate complex logistics workflows into a simple, elegant, and powerful user experience.

· Establish engineering excellence from day one: implement DevOps, CI/CD, testing standards, and monitoring to ensure a robust and reliable platform.

· Lead future hiring to build and mentor a world-class engineering team as we grow.

What We Are Looking For (Your Background)

We are looking for a pragmatic builder who is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems.

Essential Experience:

· Proven Full-Stack Leadership: You have built and shipped a complex, scalable SaaS product from scratch as a CTO, VP Eng, Founding Engineer, or similar.

· AI/ML Expertise: Strong hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML-driven products (e.g., recommendation engines, matching algorithms, predictive analytics, NLP). This is core to our product.

· Mobile-First Mindset: Experience architecting and developing for mobile (React Native, Flutter, or native) is crucial for our target market.

· Cloud & DevOps Chops: Deep experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), DevOps, and designing systems for security and reliability.

· You thrive in zero-to-one environments and are motivated by the challenge of building something transformative.

· You are passionate about our mission to solve a critical problem for African businesses.

· You are a strong communicator, able to articulate technical vision to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· You are ready to be hands-on and code the initial product yourself.

Nice-to-Have Experience

· Experience with real-time location services and mapping APIs (e.g., Google Maps, Mapbox).

· Experience integrating with third-party APIs (e.g., ERP systems, payment gateways).

· Familiarity with the logistics, supply chain, or mobility sectors.

· A connection to or understanding of the African market.
