Executive Opportunity

A leading deposit-taking microfinance bank seeks an accomplished Chief Operating Officer to provide strategic and operational leadership. This executive role combines business growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance in Kenya's dynamic financial landscape.

· Strategic Business Development & Market Expansion

· Deposit Mobilization & Financial Performance

· Operational Efficiency & Process Standardization

· Digital Banking Transformation & FinTech Integration

· CBK Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management


Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics or related field

· MBA or Master's in Strategic Management (preferred)

· Professional certifications: CPA, ACCA, AKIB, CISA

· 10+ years progressive experience in banking/microfinance

· 5+ years senior/executive leadership experience

· Deep knowledge of CBK regulations & Kenya's financial services landscape

· Proven track record in digital transformation and strategy execution


Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement business development strategies

· Oversee daily operations across all business units

· Lead deposit mobilization and financial performance

· Provide strategic leadership and people management

· Ensure full compliance with CBK regulations

· Drive digital financial services innovation


Compensation Package

· Above KSh 300,000
