KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their prescription needs and style preferences.
Perform accurate measurements of customers’ pupillary distance and ocular center to ensure proper lens placement in frames.
Process sales transactions, including handling cash, credit cards, and insurance billing, ensuring accuracy in all financial dealings.
Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and treatments to enhance their vision and eyewear durability.
Manage inventory, including receiving new stock, conducting stock counts, and organizing display areas to showcase the latest eyewear trends.
Coordinate appointments for eye examinations with the optometrist, ensuring a smooth flow of customers through the store.
Handle eyewear adjustments and minor repairs, such as tightening screws and replacing nose pads, to ensure customer satisfaction and comfort.
Participate in community outreach programs, such as vision screenings to promote eye health awareness and the store’s services
QUALIFICATIONS
Direct sales experience in Optics
Proven inside sales experience
Track record of over-achieving quota
Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Degree or equivalent in Business Course
Proficient with MS Office
