JOB SUMMARY

The primary goal of this role is to boost sales in the designated region as per the commercial strategy to drive business growth.

Working relationships

  • Sales Manager reports to Commercial Manager
  • Collaborates with Finance and Operations departments
  • Engages with Consultants, Dealers, Fundis, and Clients externally

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Management, Marketing, or related fields
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in sales, marketing, or business development with 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Background in the construction industry is advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee sales team in the region to meet set targets
  • Actively pursue and close projects to drive business growth
  • Maintain consultant and fundi database for a sustainable customer base
  • Build and nurture customer relationships for long-term opportunities
  • Represent the company in industry events for network expansion
  • Train sales team on products and services regularly
  • Provide accurate product information to clients
  • Ensure showroom is well-maintained for a positive client experience
  • Submit sales projections promptly to the Head of Commercial
  • Support dealers for efficient delivery of goods and services
  • Conduct market intelligence for decision-making
  • Lead, motivate, and coach sales team for high performance
  • Monitor staff performance and establish standards
  • Handle any other assignments from the supervisor
