About the Role

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) is seeking a highly skilled Programme Management Officer to join its team.

The incumbent will be responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of programmes and projects related to urban finance, land tenure security, and municipal financing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, policy, and programme management, with a focus on urban finance and development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programme/project plans and strategies
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to local governments and stakeholders
  • Conduct research and analysis on urban finance and development issues
  • Support the development of policy and programme frameworks

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in business administration, management, social sciences, urban development, economics, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in programme management, research, and analysis in urban finance and development
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
