AMI was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Cook, former director of South Africa's Gordon Institute of Business Science, and Rebecca Harrison, a foreign correspondent and social entrepreneur. We shared a vision for a million skilled managers and entrepreneurs building thriving businesses, creating jobs and getting Africa moving. But we saw there was something missing. While there is no shortage of talent in Africa, there is a critical lack of business and management skills. Most traditional training solutions are expensive, ineffective and ill-suited to dynamic Africa markets. We created AMI because we believe there was a better way to learn, and that with the right tools and habits, entrepreneurs and managers across the continent could be empowered to drive Africa forward.

JOB SUMMARY

AMI is looking for an ambitious and talented Marketing Specialist to support the marketing team with the current CRM and marketing systems. RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Marketing or related field3 years experience working with CRM platforms (Zoho CRM will be strongly preferred)3 years experience implementing multiple marketing integrations including websites, landing pages and social media platforms for a unified user experienceExperience converting business requirements to technical solutionsExperience working in an entrepreneurial or high-growth environmentStrong attention to detail, excellent verbal skills and a self-starter Hands on experience in building and optimizing CRM platforms including Zoho CRM and Zoho suite of productsStrong working knowledge and experience in website development including use of content managers such as Wordpress & WixProven SEO and SEM experienceExperience with Google Analytics and other web-analytics tools to building meaningful reports & dashboardsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInterpersonal skills and emotional intelligence – ability to interact well with groups of people from diverse backgrounds

RESPONSIBILITIES

CRMSupport the assessment and resolution of Zoho CRM cases and ticketsLead Zoho CRM support and specific enhancement projectsSupport CRM business process automation projects and data optimization projectsPlay product owner for applications, tools, and plug-ins within the CRM stackBuild productive and collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and business ownersBuild and automate data quality controls and master data management operations.Identify, assess, monitor, document, and communicate potential quality issues and provide efficient solutions for Zoho CRMMarketing SystemsManage day-to-day requests for website updatesFacilitate website & other system integrations with the CRMRecommend and implement changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywordsExecute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaignsTrack, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaignsCollaborate with analytics & data teams to drive a machine-learning based approach to customer touch pointsCommunicate proactively and frequently and modify technical information as needed so that it can be understood by stakeholders to enable their decision-making.
