Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development, implementation, and review of policies, strategies, and guidelines on RMNCAH.
- Initiate and oversee RMNCAH projects and programs.
- Provide capacity building programs to government agencies on RMNCAH matters.
- Offer technical support to government agencies on RMNCAH related issues.
- Create a conducive environment for RMNCAH health interventions.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in the RMNCAH sector.
- Coordinate RMNCAH Interagency Coordinating Committees and Technical Working Groups.
- Guide in determining RMNCA data variables.
- Disseminate national RMNCAH data and reports.
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys on RMNCAH services.
- Identify RMNCAH resource gaps.
- Mobilize resources for RMNCAH projects.
- Participate in RMNCAH health research and innovation.
- Lead Business Process Re-engineering in RMNCAH.
- Oversee the implementation of RMNCAH health infrastructure and technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years' experience at a Deputy Director- Medical Services level or equivalent.
- Bachelors Degree in Medicine & Surgery, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, or related field.
- Masters Degree in Internal Medicine, Public Health, Obstetrics & Gynecology, or related discipline.
- Registered and licensed by a recognized regulatory body.
- Membership in a relevant professional body where applicable.
- Demonstrated managerial and administrative skills.
