The Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced HR & Administration Consultant to join our team part-time. The main focus of this position is to provide comprehensive support in HR and administrative functions, particularly in recruitment, screening, and onboarding.

Main Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Screening:
    • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates using appropriate methods.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and relevant stakeholders.
    • Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities.
  • Setting up Recruiting and Screening Systems:
    • Design and implement a tailored and effective recruiting and screening system.
    • Develop standardized processes and procedures for recruiting, screening, and evaluating candidates.
    • Establish guidelines and metrics to measure the recruitment process's effectiveness.
  • Onboarding and HR Policy Training:
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for successful candidates.
    • Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with organizational policies, procedures, and culture.
    • Develop and deliver training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • HR Administration:
    • Provide general administrative support, including maintaining employee records and updating databases.
    • Assist in reviewing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Handle HR-related inquiries from employees and provide necessary support.
    • Set up and maintain a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Your Profile

  • Essential Requirements:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields.
    • Proven experience (2-3 years) in HR and administration roles, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
    • Strong knowledge of recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing and interviewing techniques.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly Desirable:
    • Experience in designing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and systems.
    • Experience working with a remote team and digital program management software.
    • Proficiency in using HRIS and other relevant software applications.
