We are a day and boarding school located in Machakos county- Mavoko, Joska offering both the 8-4-4 and Competency based curriculum it was founded with a mission to provide quality education for all the children without discrimination. In its quest to achieve the extraordinary, the school seeks an innovative, goal-oriented marketing strategist who will be responsible for designing marketing campaigns and performing marketing research.

Job Description

The marketer will plan, create and execute strategic marketing campaigns that promote St. Philip Neri Primary and Junior secondary school's brand. He/ She will maintain the highest level of brand strength thus increasing our market share and positioning the school as a market leader and trendsetter in the education industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement innovative marketing strategies aligned with business targets.

2. Promote Facebook marketing by managing the school's Facebook page making it functional with a view to deliver the conversions expected from a professional page.

3. Promote Instagram marketing by creating an Instagram page and maintaining it in a manner that assures market leadership by use of professional photography and videography to convey the image of a 21st-century institution and a school embracing today's world realities.

4. Deploy the website as a tool for admissions, and recruitment and an effective platform for marketing campaigns.

5. Offer professional photography services for the school using the same to tell the story with proof of excellence and cementing the brand strength and presence in all relevant spaces.

6. Undertake an intensive branding of the school by standardizing all aspects that contribute to the definition of the brand to the standard of a market leader and global player in the industry to ensure brand consistency.

7. Develop a brand management policy with very distinct characteristics and enforce compliance by all stakeholders.

8. Develop the junior school as a product and position it in the market through a well-choreographed and targeted placement that assures returns in conversions.

9. Package St. Philip Neri Kindergarten as a new product into the market giving it the force of entry and reaping maximum returns from the product.

10. Drive continued marketing of the rest of the school with a view to boosting enrollment.

11. Design a targeted campaign that endeavors to give the school reach, presence, and conversions out of its traditional market of Joska.

12. Review and develop the admission profile with a view of standardizing to conformity with the brand management policy.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

1. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing or PR or communications. Professional certification in marketing would be an added advantage.

2. Recent, demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies (i.e. online tools and social media) .

3. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

4. Strong analytical skills to interpret current marketing-related trends.

5. Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with management, team members, clients and customers where applicable.

6. Comfortable in high-pressure and fast-paced environment.

7. Great organization, time management and prioritization abilities to manage deadlines.
