**Unlocking Opportunities for Children**
UNICEF is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Global Social Policy Advocate to join our team. This role will play a critical part in shaping the organization's social policy agenda, promoting evidence-based decision-making, and advocating for the rights of children.
In this position, you will be responsible for leading and managing all stages of social policy programming and related advocacy, from strategic planning and formulation to delivery of concrete and sustainable results. Your focus will be on improving public policies to reduce child poverty, strengthening social protection coverage and impact, enhancing the use of public financial resources for children, and building capacity of local governments to plan, budget, consult on, and monitor child-focused social services.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a deep understanding of social policy issues, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. You should also be able to build strong partnerships with governments, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to advance UNICEF's mission.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about promoting the rights and well-being of children and has a proven track record of influencing policy change. If you have a background in economics, public policy, social sciences, or a related field, and are fluent in English, we encourage you to apply.
