Strategic HR Manager Position in Nairobi

Nairobi, Kenya is the location for this part-time/consultant HR Manager role at Nathan HR Human Resources. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our team and support our organization's human resources needs.

Job Summary

We require an HR Manager with strategic insight and operational expertise to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals. This will involve collaborating with leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning and organizational development, recruitment, employee relations, policy and compliance, performance management, training and development, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to design and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Candidate Sourcing and Onboarding: Oversee recruitment efforts to attract top talent and manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and provide guidance on workplace issues, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Policy and Compliance: Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with Kenyan labor laws, ensuring compliance with employment regulations and best practices.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance management systems to drive employee engagement and productivity, conducting regular reviews and providing coaching as needed.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR-related documentation, overseeing payroll and benefits administration (if required).
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a consultancy or part-time capacity.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is KES 500,000 - KES 750,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The exact salary will be determined based on mutual agreement. Additionally, we offer a flexible working schedule and a competitive benefits package.
