Job Summary:

Nathan HR Human Resources is seeking a seasoned HR Strategist to join our team on a part-time or consultancy basis in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in human resources management, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to design and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Provide Guidance on Workforce Planning: Offer expertise in organizational development to support our organization's growth.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee recruitment efforts to attract top talent and manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and provide guidance on workplace issues, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Policy and Compliance: Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with Kenyan labor laws, ensuring compliance with employment regulations and best practices.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance management systems to drive employee engagement and productivity, conducting regular reviews and providing coaching as needed.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR-related documentation, overseeing payroll and benefits administration if required.

Estimated Salary Range: KES 120,000 - KES 180,000 per month (dependent on experience)

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, SABPP) are an advantage.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a consultancy or part-time capacity, with strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Working Hours: This is a part-time/consultant role with flexible working hours. The exact schedule will be determined based on mutual agreement.
