Lead Architectural Designer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design process and creating innovative solutions for new construction projects.

  • Develop conceptual designs, working closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects, while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Oversee the production of schematic design, design development, and construction drawings, utilizing computer-assisted design software and equipment as needed.
  • Review new projects for compliance with master plans, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption to existing operations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and maintain project design schedules, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Supervise the quality assurance team during construction, conducting site inspections as required to ensure adherence to architectural designs and building codes.
  • Undertake in-house design projects that fall within the capabilities of our Projects Office, leveraging expertise in architectural design, construction detailing, and zoning regulations.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of building materials, systems, and administers to deliver exceptional results for clients.
  • Verify architectural shop drawings and material submittals to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary design teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Support research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  • Assist project managers in preparing drawings and specification documents for conceptual design, schematic design, and detailed design phases, as well as supervision stage.
Requirements:

We seek an experienced professional with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
  • Professional registration as an architect.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel, high-rise, and mixed-use projects.
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD, 3D drawings, rendering, and computer skills.
  • Proven experience in supervising and supporting construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet financial and business plans, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in overseeing planning, design, and construction projects, with advanced knowledge of the design and construction industry and standard practices.
