Job Description

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the planning and implementation of activities for an 8-month fixed-term project. The role is located at our office in Nairobi, with frequent travel to programme activity sites.

Under the supervision of the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of programme strategies, including:

  • Planning and implementing activities and processes;
  • Supporting partner management and capacity development;
  • Assisting with logistical and administrative arrangements;
  • Coordinating partner monitoring and compliance;
  • Contributing to the preparation of input for programme support tools.

You will also perform other duties as assigned by your line manager, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and priorities.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant academic degree in project management, international development, administration, or social sciences;
  • A minimum of 2 years' work experience in programme/project management and administration in the development sector;
  • Strong analytical and writing skills;
  • Strong administrative, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Ability to think analytically, strategically, and with agility;
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
