Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough interviews with clients to understand their legal issues and provide expert advice accordingly.
  • Provide high-quality legal and technical guidance, including drafting legal opinions.
  • Undertake due diligence on litigation matters to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on relevant laws, regulations, precedents, and case law to build strong cases.
  • Draft and review various legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Effectively manage deadlines and court schedules to ensure timely filings and appearances.
  • Prepare and file legal pleadings and documents with the appropriate court or tribunal.
  • Collaborate with advocates and colleagues to achieve success in high-value litigation cases.
  • Represent clients in legal matters such as hearings, motions, and trial proceedings.
  • Regularly update clients on the status of their cases in a clear and concise manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years' post-admission experience in a busy law firm.
  • An upper second-class Bachelor's degree in Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
  • A valid practicing certificate.
