Direct Transport Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Direct Transport Sales Manager to lead our team in Eastern Africa. This is a unique opportunity to drive growth, improve asset utilization, and enhance customer engagement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase ocean volume conversion and sales for Freight forwarder, traders, and SME BCO segments.
  • Leading a sales team to achieve revenue growth and optimize profits.
  • Collaborating with Ocean Market team, Product teams, and Logistics & Services Product teams to ensure alignment with company strategy.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in direct transport sales, freight forwarding, and cross-product selling.
  • Digital savviness and experimentation skills.
  • Ability to engage in consultative selling and articulate value creation.
