We're looking for a proactive Project Manager – starting on a part-time contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in change and enjoys working across multiple workstreams. They should be passionate about using technology to improve productivity and build a great place to work.

Role Overview

  • Build project management toolkit using Microsoft Project and other Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Migrate existing project plans onto the toolkit.
  • Maintain and update project fields and dashboards to ensure accurate tracking of timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Engage with local and international teams to align project goals and expectations.
  • Coach teams and work stream leads to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide clear reporting and insights on project status and risks.
  • Explore emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance project efficiency and team collaboration.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years' experience working in project management
  • 2-3 years' experience in digital or e-commerce is preferable.

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven project management skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, and other Microsoft 365 project management tools.
  • Communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to explore new technologies to improve workflows.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) is preferable.

  • Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
  • Someone available for 2-3 days per week.
  • A self-starter with a curious mindset.

  • Based in Nairobi, open to hybrid working and flexibly across time zones.
