Role Description

We're looking for a Regional Growth Lead to own user acquisition, partnerships, and market activation in East africa. This is a remote contract role reporting to our Delaware HQ.

Key Responsibilities


• Drive user acquisition to hit 100K+ active users across your region


• Build local partnerships with freelancers, SMEs, and payment channels


• Run WhatsApp-first and community-driven campaigns


• Gather user insights to localize BorderPay's experience


• Report traction and growth metrics weekly to HQ

Qualifications


• Proven experience in growth, marketing, or fintech distribution


• Strong network with local freelancers, SMEs, or payment ecosystems


• Data-driven, scrappy, and obsessed with hitting growth targets


• Excellent communication & community-building skills


• Bonus: experience in fintech, banking, or digital payments
