About the job

We are on the lookout for an Order and Delivery Specialist. As a member of our global Order & Delivery team you will be part of a small and tight team that works closely together and that supports each other. You will ensure that our customers get world class service and support when purchasing Polarium products. The teams main responsibility is customer order management and includes, but is not limited to, order management, transport document handling, production and delivery follow-up, invoicing and claims handling.

This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Qualification and experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years' experience from working with large international customers in an order management, customer service or inside sales role.
  • Experience from customer order management – From customer order to delivery including good logistics knowledge.
  • Experience from driving and implementing new or improved processes and ways of working internally and with customers.
  • Experience from working in Business Central.
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Excellent English skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience from creating, analyzing, and reporting KPIs.
  • Experience from managing the payment method "Letter of Credit".
  • Experience from managing COC requirements and product certificates in Africa.
  • Customer-focused and proactive.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-phased company environment.
  • Important to be structured and attention for details.
  • Team-oriented with great collaboration skills.
  • Good at taking on responsibilities and follow through
