Role Overview
Our client, a globally established leader in industrial milling and grain processing solutions, is seeking an experienced
East Africa Sales Manager
to drive business development across the region. The ideal candidate will be based in Nairobi and will take ownership of market growth, client relationship management, and the execution of strategic sales initiatives across East Africa.
This role is critical in expanding the company's presence in the region and requires a professional who understands the dynamics of industrial machinery, milling technologies, and B2B technical sales environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share across East Africa.
- Identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and manage the full sales cycle.
- Provide technical sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients and prospects.
- Collaborate with internal technical and engineering teams to ensure customized solutions for customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage forecasting, pipeline reporting, and sales performance tracking.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings across the region.
- Travel extensively within East Africa to meet clients, partners, and distributors.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience in
milling technologies, grain processing, or industrial machinery
. - Bachelor's degree in
Engineering, Business, or a related field
;
MBA is an added advantage
. - Experience in
international B2B environments
is highly preferred. - Fluent in
English
and at least one local East African language. - Excellent
negotiation, presentation, and communication
skills. - Ability to work
independently
with strong self-drive and ownership. - Willingness to
travel extensively
across the region.
Work Setup
- Home-office arrangement at the initial phase.
- Company car may be provided after satisfactory performance evaluation.
