Our client a beer distributor whose responsibility is to deliver products to customers, relationship building and provision of a clear path for the sales and service to retail accounts seeks to hire a Stock Controller, responsible for proper care and maintenance of stock, empties, ordering, receiving, and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities: In close coordination with the Depot Manager the successful candidate is expected to; ✓ Responsible for all operational matters in the depot

✓ Carry out periodic stock taking exercises

✓ Responsible for adhering to the requirement logistics standards.

✓ Responsible for keeping all empties stocks

✓ Responsible for receiving empties from customers and van salesmen

✓ Responsible for dispatching empties to the brewery

✓ Carry out daily stock taking of all in the warehouse in the evening ,keep and document the record daily

✓ Compulsorily conduct a month end stock taking of empties (1st of every month)

✓ Responsible for 100% sorting of empties

✓ Responsible for keeping all spirits /beer coming in from KBL/UDV and spirits /beer going to salesmen

✓ Reconciling spirits out vs sales and spirits in from VSMS

✓ Responsible for maintaining the required quality standards

✓ Responsible for maintaining the regulatory occupational Health & safety standard within the warehouse

✓ Attend all meetings

✓ Any other duty assigned by the manager

SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES Qualification & Skills:


• Diploma in a business related field


• 2+ Years experienced in warehousing/logistics operations


• Self-starter
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills


• Attention to detail


• Good IT & data processing skills, including spreadsheet packages
