Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Sales Manager will oversee and implement strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets, grow the client base, and strengthen relationships with existing partners. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, managing sales pipelines, negotiating contracts, and preparing reports to track performance against sales objectives. Additionally, the role involves collaborating closely with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that align with sales strategies, representing the lodge at events and trade shows, and providing exemplary customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in pipeline management and contract creation
  • Proficiency in business development, relationship-building, and account management
  • Knowledge of strategic marketing and campaign collaboration to enhance sales initiatives
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics, generate performance reports, and identify growth opportunities
  • Exceptional customer service competencies and proven ability to foster client satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation delivery
  • Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or eco-safari industries is highly advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
