Job Purpose:To support the finance and operations team in maintainingaccurate financial records, managingInventory records, performing regular reconciliations, andensuring smooth financial operationsWithin the retail store.Key Responsibilities:1. Bookkeeping &FinancialRecords· Record daily sales, purchases, and expensesaccurately in accounting systems.· Maintain and update ledgers, journals, andfinancial files.· Process supplier invoices and ensure timelypayments.· Assist in preparing monthly management accountsand reports.· Support in cash flow tracking and petty cashmanagement.2. Stock Management& Inventory Control· Participate in monthly and quarterly stocktakes.· Reconcile physical stock with system records andinvestigate variances.· Monitor stock movements between branches orwarehouses.· Work closely with store staff to ensure accurateinventory documentation.3. Reconciliation&Reporting· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bankreconciliations.· Reconcile supplier accounts, customer accounts,and internal control accounts.· Identify and resolve discrepancies in accountingand inventory records.· Prepare periodic reports on sales, stock levels,and cash collections.4. Compliance &Support· Ensure all transactions comply with accountingstandards and company policies.· Support external audits and provide necessarydocumentation.· Maintain confidentiality and integrity inhandling financial information. RequirementsQualifications & Skills:· Degree in Accounting, Finance, or BusinessAdministration.· CPA Part II or equivalent qualification is anadded advantage.· 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferablyin a retail or FMCG environment.· Proficient in accounting software (e.g.,QuickBooks, Sage, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.· Strong analytical, organizational, andproblem -solving skills.· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
