Company Description

Cheror Lagat and Associates is an accounting firm based in Kenya. We advocate for cloud accounting systems, enabling users to access financial information from any geographical location. Our system facilitates remote invoicing, report adjustments and hiring of accountants without the need for expensive servers. Additionally, cloud accounting enhances audit processes by providing easy access to trial balances and general ledgers.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Short Term Accountant (One Month) located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Short Term Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Daily tasks include processing invoices, adjusting financial reports, conducting audits, and supporting the finance team in various accounting tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing reconciliations
  • Experience with cloud accounting systems especially Odoo and conducting audits
  • Demonstration of high competency in Odoo; Accountancy, operations and HR
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
