Job Overview:

Sentinel Africa Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join us. The Senior Sales Executive will play a key role in driving business and revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective clients, overseeing sales projections and forecasting revenue in line with projected income. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the consultancy industry, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team to meet income targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle: Identify and generate new business opportunities by researching potential clients, industries, and markets.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Utilize a variety of lead-generation tools and techniques to build a solid pipeline.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and prospects. Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions to meet those needs effectively. Provide excellent customer service and be the primary point of contact for clients during the sales cycle.
  • Strategic Planning, Sales Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of the firm's services. Develop and present customized proposals and contracts in response to client needs.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Sales team, and Consultancy team to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement and service delivery. Provide feedback to internal teams regarding client requirements and market demands.
  • Reporting & Revenue Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions. Prepare regular income reports, tracking progress against targets and identifying areas for improvement.


Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven Business development experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the consultancy or B2B environment.
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives, with quantifiable achievements preferred.
  • A good understanding of market dynamics and industry trends
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
