Capital Markets Associate

Department: Finance

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Nairobi

Reporting To: The Principal Specialist and Senior Specialist within the Policy & Regulation Unit

Description Allied Talent Partners (ATP), a Three Cairns Group initiative, is a mission-driven, not-for-profit talent marketplace focused on solving the human capital bottlenecks slowing down sustainable development efforts in emerging economies, with an initial focus on Africa.  ATP connects vetted, experienced, context-relevant professionals to high-impact opportunities in energy access and sustainable development – strengthening local capacity and fuelling economic vitality. We specialize in fixed-term, deliverable-driven engagements – from interim leadership and generalist projects to niche technical expertise – handling project scoping, talent vetting and matching, contracting, payroll, and compliance so that our clients can focus on impact.

High-Level Overview

Client is a pan-African development agency focused on strengthening financial markets and mobilising capital for development. Within this agency, the Capital Markets team houses the Policy & Regulation Unit, which works with regulators, exchanges, and ministries of finance to design and strengthen regulatory frameworks that enable capital mobilisation and deepen financial markets.

The Capital Markets team, through the Policy & Regulation Unit, is seeking two Associate-level consultants to provide the operational backbone for the unit by driving project management, process coordination, data analysis, regulatory research, and knowledge product development. Working in close collaboration with specialists, who lead on technical inputs and senior stakeholder engagement, Associates will ensure that documentation, approvals, reporting, and coordination run smoothly, enabling the successful delivery of programmes

The ideal candidates will be proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with a grounding in financial or capital markets and an interest in regulatory frameworks. They should combine analytical ability with strong communication skills, adapt quickly to change, and work collaboratively with specialists and stakeholders to drive process and support delivery.
