1. Job Purpose

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing all business operations of the company. This includes managing day-to-day operations, ensuring profitability, maintaining product and service quality, implementing strategic plans, and leading teams toward growth and excellence in the poultry and fast-food sectors.

1. Key Responsibilities

a) Leadership & Management

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for all branches and franchise units' operations, including production, processing, packaging, and distribution

• Supervise departmental heads (production, finance, HR, IT, marketing, and franchise operations).

• Ensure all teams adhere to company policies, SOPs, and brand standards.

• Build a strong performance-driven culture.

• Carry out performance management on a quarterly basis

b) Operations & Quality Control

• Oversee daily operations across outlets and production facilities.

• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are consistently met.

• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and consistency

~ Maintain high standards for cleanliness and organizational tasks

c) Financial Management

~ Prepare and monitor budgets, P&L statements, and performance reports.

~ Control costs and ensure revenue growth across all outlets and franchises.

~ Coordinate with the accountant and finance team on audits and compliance.

~ Oversee inventory management, procurement, and supply chain logistics to meet poultry production demands efficiently.

d) Business Development & Franchise Growth

~ Identify and on board new franchise partners.

~ Support franchisees in meeting brand and performance standards.

~ Lead expansion strategies in new markets and territories.

~ Strengthen brand presence through marketing and customer engagement initiatives.

~ Drive sustainability efforts within poultry operations, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and responsible resource management

e) Human Resource & Training

~ Oversee recruitment, training, and staff performance management.

~ Promote a healthy workplace culture and professional development.

~ Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.

~ Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and service levels

f) Customer Service & Brand Management

1. Qualifications & Experience

»
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, Agriculture or related field.

At least 15 years' experience in Poultry Farms & Administration Management

»
Minimum 5-7 years of managerial experience in the food, poultry, or franchise sector.

Must have experience in leading large-scale poultry production operations.

Strong financial, operational, and leadership skills.

»
Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with franchising models, food safety, quality control and food industry regulations.

Must have working knowledge in budgeting, forecasting and monthly reports.
