Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Nairobi County, Kenya, for an Outdoor Skills Trainer. The Outdoor Skills Trainer will be responsible for conducting training sessions, developing customized training materials, and delivering presentations to diverse audiences. The role includes teaching life and soft skills relevant to outdoor environments, ensuring participants improve their confidence, safety, and capabilities. The trainer will collaborate with teams to assess training needs and provide professional guidance to participants, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong Training & Development and Presentation Skills
  • Proficiency in teaching Life Skills and fostering Soft Skills
  • Effective Communication Skills to engage and support participants
  • Ability to assess training needs and tailor programs accordingly
  • Prior experience in outdoor education or a related field is an advantage
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and hands-on learning environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Outdoor Leadership, or a related discipline is preferred
