Job Title: Legal Clerical Assistant/Archivist PROFILE INTRODUCTION Our client, the oil and gas industry, seeks to hire a Legal Clerical Assistant/Archivist who will be responsible for assisting the legal Section in handling paperwork, keeping records, storage and maintenance of company documents and records by ensuring organized and safe record keeping and proper filing systems in line with the established company procedures. Key Areas of Responsibility Keeping an accurate record of all contracts, station and other company documents in theLegal Register or Tool.Maintain legal files in an orderly and retrievable mannerEnsuring that the Legal Store and other storage spaces within the Legal Section are wellarranged with a systematic filing system for easy retrieval of documents.Keeping an accurate record of all documents dispatched to user sections and receivedby the Legal Section.Assisting the legal Section in coordinating the retrieval of documents from the ArchivingCompanies.Ensuring a continuous filing of all correspondence, memos, and station files, duediligence forms, employee records, contracts and any other documentation to ensure theLegal offices are neat and free of clutter.Generating various reports and reconciliations as directed by the Legal Section.Maintaining strict confidentiality of all information acquired during carrying outtheir duties. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Diploma in Record keeping or Inventory Management or an equivalent field / Certificatewith relevant experienceAt least 1 year's experience in store management or recording keeping;Conversant with MS Excel and MS Word programs
