Regional Training Manager

We're seeking a Regional Training Manager to lead learning and development programs across Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in training and instructional design, with a strong background in leadership and adult learning theories.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fostering collaboration with sales leaders and stakeholders to align training programs with business goals
  • Supporting new market expansions and ensuring at least 80% of field agents are trained
  • Accelerating team performance through coaching and support
  • Tracking and analyzing training metrics and providing regular reports to senior leadership
  • Managing the regional training budget and resources
  • Building efficiency through automation and reducing manual efforts

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Human Resources, Education)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in training and instructional design, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy industry
  • Knowledge of training methodologies and adult learning theories
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies
