- Manage the creation of KEBs, CDs, and permits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Process entries via the new ICMS system and KRA Tradex, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Monitor and follow up on lodged entries to ensure compliance with Customs requirements.
- Verify shipment documents, advising on additional information required and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Determine and track duties and taxes payable, processing payments on behalf of clients.
- Manage bonds for imported products, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Provide expert advice on customs matters related to imports and exports.
- Implement quality control procedures for all work processes, ensuring excellence in delivery.
- Manage staff, including performance, disciplinary, leave, and resolution of staff issues.
- Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in operations roles in a Freight forwarding company.
- In-depth understanding of customs clearance processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
