Business Procurement Specialist

At our organisation, we seek to capitalise on our strategic position as a leading Africa-focused financial services group.

Key Responsibilities

To manage day-to-day purchasing activities for goods, materials and services, ensuring operational needs are met while taking into account price, quality and delivery. Collaborate closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A first degree is required, accompanied by a professional qualification in CPSP-K or CIPS Level 5.
  • 3-4 years of experience in operational procurement processes and components, preferably within a banking or financial services environment.

Key skills include purchasing, negotiation, data analytics, stakeholder engagement, reporting, spend analysis, contracts management, commercial understanding and cost breakdown. Experience in using procurement systems, such as SAP & Coupa, is also advantageous.
