Key Responsibilities:

  3. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to prepare project budgets and forecasts.
  4. Monitor and analyze monthly expenses against the budget.
  5. Support tax compliance activities, including preparing tax returns.

Accounting and Ledger Responsibilities:
Review financial transactions and ensure the accuracy and completeness of ledger entries.

  1. Manage inventory for the organization.
  2. Prepare monthly balance sheets and other financial reports.
  3. Resolve discrepancies arising from reconciliations.
  4. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actions.
  5. Monitor cost trends and variances.
  6. Perform bank and cash reconciliation.
  7. Manage project accounting activities.
  8. Conduct financial analysis to evaluate project profitability.
  9. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  10. Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects.
  11. Perform accounting duties throughout the project.
  12. Prepare cost analyses by interpreting projects' financial data.
  13. Report any financial risks and budgetary discrepancies.
  14. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  15. Keep abreast with both the construction and accounting industry.
  16. Undertake banking duties as required.
  17. Preparation of payroll and preparation of casuals pay as required.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a CPA Intermediate Level.
  • At least 1 year's experience.
  • Proficiency in an accounting software and ERP Systems and Microsoft office suite.
