JPO - Policy Analyst - Disaster Recovery / Climate Resilience - Programme Specialist

United Nations Development Programme is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Policy Analyst to join its team as a Junior Professional Officer (JPO). The JPO will work in the Disaster Risk Reduction and Recovery Team of the UNDP Crisis Bureau, supporting policy and programme development on disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of policy and programme documents on disaster recovery
- Provide technical guidance on recovery issues to UNDP country offices and partners
- Contribute to the development of knowledge products on disaster recovery
- Assist in the organization of training and workshops on disaster recovery
Requirements:
- Master's degree in development studies, environmental studies, disaster management, or climate change adaptation
- At least two years of relevant experience in planning, implementing, and managing programmes and/or projects related to development
- Good understanding and/or direct work experience with development agencies such as international organizations and/or national or international NGOs
- Fluency in English; working knowledge in French and/or Spanish is an advantage
