Administrative Support Specialist

Nathan HR Human Resources is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance, supporting data-driven decision-making, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the department.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable with handling large datasets, and have experience generating reports to support business activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing communications, and maintaining office records.
- Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze data using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and conditional formatting.
- Assist in preparing detailed reports, charts, and graphs to help visualize data insights.
- Manage and organize electronic files, records, and databases to ensure easy access and retrieval of information.
- Coordinate with other team members to gather, compile, and analyze data for special projects.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and documents to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify data trends and anomalies, providing insights and recommendations where appropriate.
- Support budget tracking, expense reporting, and financial analysis, as needed.
- Perform general office duties, such as managing correspondence, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory.
- Proven experience in an administrative support role or similar position.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros, and complex formulas).
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of database management systems or data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Prior experience in a similar role.
