EMPLOYER: Green Rising is a news media company in Nairobi focused on Africa's green economy. We create business content about electric vehicles, renewable energy, nature conservation and other green sectors.

ROLE: 

  • You will create content for LinkedIn, X, TikTok and podcasts. 
  • You need to have 2 years experience in social, video and / or audio.
  • You'll collaborate with colleagues but make many of your own calls. 
  • If you're interested in a long-term career in business media, you're in the right place. You'll have a chance to grow.

FIT: 

  • You run on motivation more than hierarchy. 
  • You can create a high volume of daily output. 
  • You are a story-teller who can turn dry news into funky content. 
  • You are not so "creative" that you can't stick to broad guidelines.

DETAILS: 

  • 12-month renewable contract, start in Nairobi on August 19th, full-time, a mix of office & home-based. 
  • Compensation dependent on skill levels.
