Role Description
The Sales Manager, General Trade, will lead sales operations within the general trade channel, focusing on driving revenue growth and market penetration. Responsibilities include managing and expanding the distribution network, developing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. The candidate will also analyze market trends, offer insights for improvement, and lead a team of sales personnel. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi County, Kenya.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales, Distribution Management, and Sales Strategy development
- Skills in Marketing and Modern Trade & Retail Strategy implementation
- Strong abilities in Performance Management, Training, and Coaching teams
- Capability in Market Research and Trend Analysis
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills applicable to on-site operational challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in East African markets or a similar landscape is an advantage
