Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tour and Travel Specialist based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing and booking travel itineraries, coordinating with clients to tailor their travel experiences, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the travel planning process. Additional responsibilities include managing bookings, promoting travel packages, and collaborating with suppliers and vendors to ensure seamless travel arrangements. The Specialist will also focus on driving sales and maintaining positive relationships with clients and industry partners.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including verbal and written proficiency, interpersonal skills, and customer engagement abilities
  • Knowledge and expertise in Travel & Tourism, including trip planning, destination familiarity, and managing bookings
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations
  • Sales and Marketing skills for promoting travel packages and building client relationships
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in relevant travel software and tools (e.g., booking platforms, CRM systems) is a plus
  • Fluency in English and additional languages is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
