PROFILE INTRODUCTION Our client, an international non -governmental organization seeks to bring on board a Data Architect Analyst Digital & Data Information Technology. The Data Architecture Analyst will support the Head of Data Management in developing, documenting, and maintaining the Foundation's enterprise data architecture. This role will contribute to ensuring that the Foundation's data is well -structured, interoperable, and aligned with business and analytical needs. Working closely with the Data Governance, Engineering, and Analytics teams, the Analyst will help ensure that data assets are consistent, well -documented, and fit for purpose across the Foundation's growing data ecosystem. This role offers an opportunity to learn how data architecture supports scalable, ethical, and impact -driven decision -making — aligning with the Foundation's vision of enabling dignified and fulfilling work for young people across AfricaROLES AND RESPONSPONSIBILITIES Ways You Can Contribute: · Data Modelling and Documentation: Assist in documenting conceptual, logical, and physical data models under the guidance of senior architects. Maintain a data dictionary and catalogue to ensure consistent use of data elements across systems.· Architecture Support: Support the design and integration of data flows across the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) and other systems (e.g., Fluxx, Workday, and Grantbook).· Data Quality and Lineage Tracking: Contribute to tracking data lineage and supporting the implementation of data quality controls.· Standards and Best Practices: Help maintain and document data management standards, ensuring alignment with the Foundation's data governance framework.· Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Data Engineers, Data Operations, and Analytics teams to support architecture -related tasks such as schema design, metadata updates, and pipeline validation.· Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with emerging practices in data architecture, cloud technologies (Azure preferred), and data governance to support continuous improvement. RequirementsWho You Are:· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.· 1–2 years' experience (including internships) in data architecture, data management, or related roles.· Basic understanding of data modelling concepts (conceptual, logical, physical).· Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, or similar) and SQL fundamentals.· Awareness of metadata management and data lineage principles.· Detail -oriented, structured, and curious about how data systems interconnect.· Strong problem -solving and collaboration skills with an eagerness to learn.· Demonstrated commitment to the Foundation's mission and values of equity, inclusion, and collaboration. HOW TO APPLY Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes not later than 5:00 p.m 21st November 2025.
