Role Summary

We are seeking a results-oriented Azure Sales Specialist who will drive Azure revenue growth by translating our technical specializations into compelling business value for customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to sell cloud solutions by focusing on customer outcomes, industry-specific needs, and leveraging Microsoft partnership benefits. This role is critical to bridging the gap between technical capabilities and customer business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Value & Industry-Focused Selling

  2. Develop and deliver business-centric Azure value propositions tailored to specific industries (e.g. Finance, Insurance, manufacturing, Oil and Gas education, public sector)

  3. Translate technical Azure specializations (e.g., VMware on Azure, Infrastructure and Database Migration, Data & AI, Hybrid Cloud, Virtual Desktop) into clear business outcomes for customers.
  4. Create and present customer success stories, ROI analyses, and case studies to demonstrate impact.

  5. Pipeline Generation & Customer Engagement

  6. Proactively identify and qualify new Azure opportunities through workshops, webinars, and assessments and proof of value

  7. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned with company targets and Azure specialization strengths.
  8. Lead customer engagements from discovery to contract closure, focusing on solving real business challenges.

  9. Solution Selling & Technical Collaboration

  10. Work closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to design and position optimal Azure solutions.

  11. Stay current on Azure features, competitive landscape, and market trends to advise customers effectively.
  12. Leverage Microsoft Partner resources, incentives, and co-selling opportunities to maximize deal success.

  13. Relationship Management & Customer Success

  14. Build long-term, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

  15. Manage renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities across the Microsoft cloud ecosystem (Azure, M365, Security, Dynamics).
  16. Ensure high customer satisfaction, adoption, and reference ability.

  17. Sales Enablement & Continuous Improvement

  18. Provide feedback to marketing and technical teams on customer needs and market trends.

  19. Participate in ongoing Azure sales and technical training.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field AND + years of technology-related sales or account management experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications
