JOB TITLE: EHS OFFICER About This Job:Q -Sourcing Limited trading as Q -Sourcing Servtec is amanpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in thecountries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.On behalf of our client, we are looking for acompetent, skilled, and experienced EHS Officer to work inNairobi.Job summary:Key Responsibilities andAccountabilities:Take a leading role in training , implementation and enforce client and Q -Sourcing EHS requirements Develop risk assessments for all routine jobs and ensure identified risks are adequately mitigatedPerform job safety analysis for non -routine jobs and implement adequate mitigation measuresEnsure timely provision of quality PPEs as identified in the risk assessmentDevelop training materials, train, advise and monitor implementation of safe working proceduresPerform regular facility inspection and follow through closure of all safety gaps identifiedEnsure all required medical examinations are conducted in a timely mannerEnsure induction and statutory trainings are conducted as and when requiredEnsure inspection and relevant certification (including statutory) of all equipment in useConduct Investigations in the rare event that an incident occursMaintain proper and accurate EHS -related documentation Prepare monthly, and other on need EHS reportsRequirementsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:1.  AT least Diploma inoccupational health and safety2.  Minimum 3 years of experienceas an EHS supervisor in a busy manufacturing environment3.  A degree holder with relevantEHS training certification is acceptable4.  Detail -oriented and highlysafety -conscious5.  Ability to work under pressure 6.  Excellent supervisory andpeople management skills7.  Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills8.  Detail -oriented and highlysafety -conscious9.  Able to handle more than oneclientApplication procedure:Interested and qualifiedapplicants should submit their applications through the link below.Note:Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.Q -SOURCING SERVTEC IS ANEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
