Summary


On behalf of our client, we are looking for Agricultural Sales Representatives to support the marketing initiatives and management of the purchase orders for the Byproducts (Seed cakes and cotton hulls). The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, with the highest sense of ethic, energetic individual with exceptional communication and customer service skills. He or She will work in collaboration with the Commercial Manager to establish and develop markets for the Byproducts as well as on boarding new customers for the same.
Job Responsibilities:

Execute promotional activities as defined with the Commercial Manager.
Develop proposals for engagement of prospective customers and deliver sales presentations to secure new customers.
Identify potential customers and successfully introduce the relevant Byproducts to new customers within Kenya and internationally.
Organize meetings with potential customers either in-person or virtual calls.
Work with distributors to build awareness of our Byproduct portfolio.
Conduct research on alternative applications of the Byproducts and trends in the local and international markets.
Process purchase orders of Byproducts from Buyers and coordinate with the logistics department for the dispatch of inventory and with Finance for invoicing the sales.
Maintain proper filing and archiving of meeting records with prospective buyers and any sales documents (i.e purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices).
Prepare presentation material for management evaluation and decision-making.
Carry out any other activities as may be required to achieve the organizations sales targets.

Job Qualification:

Must have a relevant University degree.
Should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales/marketing or related role.
Good Knowledge of the Kenyan agricultural sector (i.e. feeds, livestock, fertilizer …) will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of excel and Power Point
Good Communication skills.
Customer oriented.
