Impala Club is seeking a highly skilled & experienced Procurement Officer for its procurement department.
The ideal candidate will be a Kenyan citizen who has the following Key Qualifications
Professional Qualifications and Experience
Diploma / Degree in purchasing & Logistics, purchasing and supply, supply chain management or any other relevant field.
Experience in hospitality set up or supply chain will be added advantage.
Key Duties and deliverables
Prepare and source for quotations for required stock and analyzing the same.
Receive and analyze quotations received.
Raise LPOs, LSOs after receiving purchase requests from users for approval by the Manager In-charge.
Ensure stock is delivered in a timely manner by liaising with venders
Sourcing for new Suppliers required by the Club and engaging them with the assistance from the General Manager.
Responsible for evaluating suppliers, products and services to ensure they meet the desired quality and quantity.
Oversee and supervise the operation of the Stores Section.
Ensure proper record keeping of all purchases and reporting monthly on the same.
Conduct monthly stock take with the stores / cost controller and providing the report to the Finance Manager & the General Manager.
Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services and supplies.Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures
Maintain and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges etc.
Responsible for negotiating contracts with suppliers and ensuring that approved purchases are cost effective and of high quality.
Negotiating pricing and supply contracts.
The Procurement Officer shall report to the General Manager
