Establishing a robust risk and compliance framework is crucial for businesses operating in the global market. Risk Management:
  • We identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, and reputational risks to ensure that our internal controls are effective and up-to-date.
  • We design and implement risk mitigation strategies tailored to our business needs and regularly review their effectiveness.
Compliance Oversight:
  • We develop, implement, and continuously enhance our compliance program to meet local and international regulatory requirements.
  • We conduct due diligence checks and ongoing monitoring of clients and partners to ensure AML/CTF compliance and prevent illicit activities.
Training and Culture:
  • We promote a strong culture of compliance and risk awareness through regular staff training and guidance on compliance-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or Accounting.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within financial services, capital markets, forex trading, or banking.
  • CISI certification (Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments) required.
  • Member of a recognized professional body (e.g., Law Society of Kenya or the Institute of Certified Accountants Kenya).
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets (Online Foreign Exchange Trading) Regulations, 2017, and other relevant legal frameworks.
  • Must meet the Fit & Proper criteria set by the Capital Markets Authority.
