Purpose of the Role:

The Business Development Manager will drive sustainable growth by identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base.

This role requires a visionary leader adept at building relationships, innovating growth strategies, and positioning us as a market leader in East Africa's real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth Leadership: Develop and execute business development strategies to penetrate new markets, diversify revenue streams, and achieve long-term growth targets.
  • Market Expansion & Partnerships: Lead market research to uncover trends, competitor insights, and emerging opportunities in real estate.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: Design innovative approaches to attract and retain high-value clients, leveraging digital tools and offline networks.
  • System Development & Innovation: Implement scalable processes and tools to track business development pipelines and optimize conversion.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor KPIs (e.g., market share growth, partnership ROI) and report insights to senior leadership.

Key Requirements:

  • Background & Experience: 5+ years in business development, preferably in real estate, property development, or related sectors.
  • Proven Success: Proven success in identifying and closing strategic partnerships or entering new markets.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management abilities; strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; expertise in market analysis, strategic planning, and financial modeling; proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
