Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our sales team in achieving revenue targets and driving business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, analysing market trends, and building strong relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand into new markets.
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Create and execute a detailed sales plan, including regional expansion strategies.
Team Management and Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Structure and organize the team to maximize efficiency and coverage.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure team members meet individual and collective targets.
Revenue and Target Management:
  • Ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue targets consistently.
  • Track sales performance and prepare detailed reports.
  • Develop pricing strategies and oversee discount and promotional policies.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Oversee the resolution of customer issues to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Regional Market Expansion:
  • Lead the sales efforts in expanding the company's footprint in other regions.
  • Identify and develop new regional markets, partnerships, and distribution channels.
  • Coordinate with local teams to ensure alignment with the company's overall sales goals.
Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, budgets, and reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide strategic input to senior management on sales trends and business opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the construction materials industry.

  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques, market analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
