Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, driving revenue growth, and expanding the company's market presence. The role involves strategic planning, sales, networking, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Identify new markets, opportunities, and partnerships to drive company growth.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies and plans.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs.

Client & Partner Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Act as the main point of contact for partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Negotiate contracts, proposals, and partnership agreements.

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects and leads.
  • Deliver sales presentations, pitches, and proposals to potential clients and partners.
  • Meet or exceed agreed sales and revenue targets.

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Work with the marketing team to support campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
  • Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
  • Enhance the visibility and reputation of the company within target markets.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, leads, and results.
  • Track KPIs and ensure performance targets are met.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and other reporting tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., education, recruitment, technology, etc.].
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
