 The Director of Sales is responsible for drivingsales performance and growth across various product lines, including commercialvehicles, passenger cars, tractors, and power products. The role involvesstrategic leadership, sales operations oversight, and market expansion toensure revenue and profitability targets are met. Reporting to the ExecutiveChairman and Group CEO, the Director of Sales will lead a high -performing salesteam and develop innovative sales strategies to maintain marketcompetitiveness. Key Responsibilities · Developand execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed business targets.· Provideleadership and guidance to the sales team, ensuring high performance andcontinuous improvement.· Drivecustomer acquisition and retention through relationship management andvalue -driven sales approaches.· Overseesales operations, including lead generation, CRM utilization, and salesperformance monitoring.· Collaboratewith marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns and promotionalstrategies.· Conductmarket analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.· Ensureoptimal sales order planning and coordination with logistics teams to maintainproduct availability.· Managekey stakeholder relationships, including customers, partners, and industryassociations. Requirements Qualifications:· Bachelor'sdegree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.· Minimumof 7 years of proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in theautomotive or related industry.· Strongbackground in B2B and B2C sales strategies.· Excellentknowledge of the Kenyan market and industry trends.· Experiencemanaging sales teams, departmental budgets, and business developmentinitiatives. Skills and competencies· Strategic thinking and financial management.· Leadership and people management skills.· Market intelligence and customer engagement expertise.· Strong analytical and decision -making abilities.· High integrity, accountability, and results -orientedmindset.
