About the Role
Our partner in the Legal industry is seeking a dynamic and commercially savvy Business Development Executive to spearhead new client acquisition, build brand visibility, and drive long-term revenue growth. In this role, you will design and execute growth strategies that position the firm as a trusted partner in litigation, corporate advisory, and debt recovery. You will work closely with senior leadership, leveraging your expertise in B2B business development, tender processes, and marketing to expand the client base and strengthen market presence.
What You Will Do:
Revenue Growth and Client Acquisition:

You will proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through tenders, pre-qualification processes, direct outreach, referrals, and networking.

Your client interactions, sales activities, and deal status records will build and maintain a structured sales pipeline with regular reporting on progress.

You will develop tailored pitches and proposals in collaboration with internal teams.

You will manage a structured sales pipeline and deliver consistent reporting on acquisition progress.

You will identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
Sales Strategy and Market Insights:

You will design and implement effective business development strategies aligned with the firm's growth goals.

You will track industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities, providing regular insights on leadership.

You will execute campaigns to grow brand visibility, market positioning, and expansion into new client segments.

You will support thought leadership initiatives and networking events to strengthen market positioning.
Relationship Management and Customer Success:

You will maintain and deepen client relationships alongside senior leadership.

You will ensure a seamless client journey that promotes satisfaction, retention, and repeat engagements.

You will track and act on client feedback to improve service delivery continuously.

You will champion high-quality post-engagement follow-up.

You will update and maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and deal status in the company's CRM system.

You will prepare regular sales reports, including pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and activity metrics, to provide insights and contribute to strategic planning
Requirements Must-Haves:
-
You have 4–7 years' experience in business development, marketing, or sales, ideally within professional services such as legal, finance, or consulting.

You hold a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

You have experience managing mid- to large-sized B2B ticket sizes and closing high-value deals.

You have proven experience in client acquisition, tender submissions, and B2B sales.

You are skilled in proposal writing, pipeline management, and CRM usage.

You are confident in digital marketing tools (LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Canva, etc.).

You are a strong communicator with excellent networking and presentation skills.

You are highly organized, self-driven, and capable of working independently.

You are professional, polished, and able to represent the firm with integrity and gravitas.
